   Works well if you have space to roll it to the right. A couple of suggestions. When assembling, glue the lower end of the grill to the bottom of the litter box so it can't pop out when the box is flexed. (A little glue should be enough). Why? When the litter level depth is too shallow, the soiled litter can stick to the bottom even when rolled upside down. The solution is to strike the bottom of the box when it's rolled over, to dislodge and stuck litter clumps. That could knock the grill loose too unless it's been glued. Also, when assembling, add either a thin adhesive weather strip or a bead of sealant as a gasket along the right side seam where the upper and lower half are clipped together. Why? That seam is not perfect and over time, some litter granules will leak out that seam when it is rolled to the downward position and back again.
   Finally, when rolling back to the upright position, roll it over to the left side about 45° momentarily to move all the litter back past the grill into to the left side where the cat needs depth. To add new litter, we tilt the box back against the wall and pour in new litter through the access portal for the cat. I have only rarely unclipped the top to open it.
   With these few tweaks, this is an outstanding product that I have used for years. Some cats may be averse to an enclosed box, but for those who are not, this has all the convenience of a litter robot at 1/!0 the cost.

   Forget any other cat box! I am floored every time I clean this flipping box. Like a little hidden cave where you never see the contents. Easy on my back too. All the real weight is left on the floor. After I set it up I went to get my husband to show him how nice it looked. I turned it over to show the process and then pulled out the tray. There was actually a lump in the tray! A cat had already left a deposit...and I was only gone a minute. There was no loose "sand" to be wasted and tossed away. The lumps are not broken and crumbled just gently sifted out. That means the lumps are solid, sealed and not stenchy. That leaves the remaining sand clean and smooth. This is a smart buy, and will be the blueprint of the future.

   GET IT! I have one cat who is a literal scaredy-cat of everything and another cat who absolutely enjoys playing in the other fully automatic litter box. the skittish one wanted nothing to do with the automatic and I hate scooping litter, so I found this litter box. I could not be more happy with this thing! It’s big and bulky so be prepared for that, but this also works for me because I have a giant fluffy cat who needs a lot of room and it’s perfect. It also takes some getting used to w/ rolling but man oh man, is it worth it! Especially for the price! I’m so glad there was an in between alternative from a regular shmegular box to a fully automatic litter box because this thing rocks, lol literally!

   We have 3 cats and 4 litter boxes around the house. Although our cats are able to go outside, two of them keep their legs crossed until they can come inside and pee in their box. It may surprise some fellow cat slaves to know that litter box duties are not our favorite part of cat co-habitation, so we have tried several "self cleaning" boxes. I like this one the best because it is not electric, so there is no noise. It is very easy once you understand how far over you have to roll it to get the poops to drop in the little drawer that separates them. Because it is so easy, we empty this daily, and because it is cleaner than the other boxes, the cats use it more than any of the other boxes. We recently bought another. Still do not like litter duty.

   Love this design I used to own one years ago but haven't seen them out on the pet market in general. So got the 3 tray sifter which is only $10 less but way more work and chance to get dirty. It is self cleaning because you just roll it tap it roll it back and empty the tray. Like the $200+ robot but with less parts to clean and break. Simple effect and less touching cat waste. I tend to roll mine when I see my cats have used. it. I have one upstairs and one down stairs. Well worth the money and less effort with a decent clump litter. No touching waste is a bonus for sure.
